Ingredients:
1 bunch of kale
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil or melted coconut oil
¼ tsp sea salt
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees F.
2. Wash and thoroughly dry kale. If the kale isn’t completely dry, the chips may be unevenly cooked and soggy.
3. Remove stems and cut into 1 – 2 inch pieces.
4. Toss kale in a large bowl with olive or coconut oil. Use your hands to ensure the leaves are thoroughly coated.
5. Sprinkle in sea salt and cayenne pepper and toss to evenly coat.
6. Spread leaves in a thin layer evenly on a large parchment lined baking sheet. If you have a large bunch of kale, you may need to do this in two batches.
7. Bake for 10 minutes and then turn leaves. Bake for another 15 minutes until leaves are crisp.
Cool for 3 – 5 minutes and enjoy!
